Auction of PSNH Utility Generation Delayed Due to Court Appeal, New Schedule Set
The New Hampshire PUC has set a new timeline for the auction of generation owned by Public Service Company of New Hampshire (Eversource).
A prior schedule, which had anticipated a final decision on disposition of the facilities late this spring, was delayed due to an appeal of the PUC's divestiture order, but such appeal has now been disposed of and the PUC's order has been affirmed
The new schedule adopted by the PUC provides that final binding bids will be due in early August 2017.
Once divestiture is complete, PSNH will move to a default service sourced by competitive solicitation for full requirements contracts, or any successor default service structure adopted by the PUC
