RFP For Retail Suppliers To Serve Low-Income Customers Receives No Conforming Bids
Duke Energy Ohio's April 4 RFP for retail suppliers to serve a portion of Duke's electricity Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) customers received no conforming bids, according to a report from the auction manager
As a result, no PIPP load was awarded to retail suppliers in the auction.
Duke Energy Ohio has been seeking retail suppliers to serve 51% of PIPP load for the period June 1, 2017 - May 31, 2018
A benchmark price of $49.74 per MWh had been established in the RFP, which retail suppliers had to beat.
