Ohio Discloses Winning Bidders From Default Service Auction

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) disclosed the winning bidders from Duke Energy Ohio’s fifth wholesale auction that will determine its retail generation service rates through May 2018.

As previously reported, the auction produced an average clearing price of $50.71 per megawatt-hour (MWh) for 17 tranches of supply for the delivery period of June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018.
