PECO Residential Generation Rate To Fall, Commercial Rates Increase
PECO has filed with the Pennsylvania PUC new electric Generation Supply Adjustment (GSA) charges for the period beginning June 1, 2017
The GSA (labeled generation charge) is the largest component of the Price to Compare (PTC). The final PTCs, which have not yet been posted, also include the transmission charge.
For residential customers (R, RH), PECO's GSA will decrease to 6.419¢/kWh on June 1, from the current 6.578¢/kWh
Commercial customers at or under 100 kW will see a nearly 5% increase in the GSA beginning June 1, 2017
For General Service (GS) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA will increase to 6.221¢/kWh on June 1, from the current 5.940¢/kWh
For Primary - Distribution Power (PD) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA will increase to 6.116¢/kWh on June 1, from the current 5.840¢/kWh
For High - Tension Power (HT) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA will increase to 5.869¢/kWh on June 1, from the current 5.600¢/kWh
The new GSAs are to be effective June 1, 2017 to August 31, 2017
