Cirro Energy Rolls Out Service Outside Of Texas

Cirro Energy has begun offering on PA Power Switch electricity service to residential customers in Pennsylvania

EnergyChoiceMatters.com had been first to report last year that NRG Energy added the trade name Cirro Energy to the Pennsylvania license of Independence Energy Group LLC

Currently, on PA Power Switch, Cirro Energy is offering residential service at PPL, Duquesne Light, Met-Ed, Penelec, Penn Power, and West Penn Power

Cirro also offers electric service for residential customers at PECO, though such offers are not currently listed on PA Power Switch

At PPL, Cirro Energy is offering to residential customers (¢/kWh):

6 months fixed     6.4¢
12 months fixed    7.1¢
24 months fixed    8.1¢

These fixed offers are promoted on PA Power Switch.

An early cancellation fee of $10 per month applies to the fixed price contracts if cancelled during the fixed price term

Additionally, on its website, Cirro offers PPL residential customers a plan with an introductory rate of 5.8¢/kWh fixed for three months, and a variable rate thereafter. There is no early cancellation fee for this plan
