Pepco Mass Market SOS Rates To Fall (Residential Rate Declining 12%)

Pepco has filed with the Maryland PSC new residential and Type I SOS rates for the period beginning October 1, 2017, and new Type II SOS rates for the period beginning June 1, 2017

The new October 1, 2017 mass market rates are lower than the year-ago rates for the comparable period, as well as the upcoming summer 2017 rates.

For example, the new October 1, 2017 Schedule R Generation Service Charge is about 1¢/kWh, or 12%, lower than the October 1, 2016 GSC, and marginally lower than the GSC that is to take effect on June 1, 2017

The Pepco-MD rates below, in $ per kWh, reflect only the energy component of SOS, and not transmission or reconciliations.
