Constellation Retail Margins Steady

During an earnings call yesterday, Exelon reported that Constellation continues to see steady retail margins for newly originated C&I electricity customers.

Constellation's retail margins for C&I origination still remain between the $2/MWh to $4/MWh band the company has previously reported, Joseph Nigro, CEO of Constellation, told investors

Asked about recent consolidation in the retail market, Nigro said that such consolidation has helped maintain margins, as there are fewer participants in the market. Nigro did note that Constellation has seen some aggressive bidding behavior by some smaller entities in certain sectors such as government contracting, but overall, this hasn't pushed margins out of the $2/MWh to $4/MWh range for Constellation
