Utility Parent Creates New Retail Supplier, Seeking To Serve Customers In Multiple States
New Jersey Resources has formed a new subsidiary, NJR Retail Services Company, which is seeking to act as a retail natural gas supplier in several states.
NJR Retail Services Company has applied for a New Jersey natural gas supplier license
NJR Retail Services Company has also applied for a Pennsylvania natural gas supplier license to serve large commercial customers (6,000 Mcf or more annually) and industrial customers at PECO, Philadelphia Gas Works, and the three UGI LDCs.
NJR Retail Services Company has also applied for a Maryland natural gas supplier license to serve commercial and industrial customers at Baltimore Gas & Electric and Chesapeake Utilities
NJR Retail Services Company is an affiliate of NJR Energy Services, which serves industrial customers with wholesale gas supply, and offers other supply and asset management services
NJR Retail Services Company is an affiliate of New Jersey local distribution company New Jersey Natural Gas Company
