Retail Gas Supplier Serving 100,000+ Customers Receives New License As Part of New Expansion To Electricity
The Illinois Commerce Commission granted Vista Energy Marketing, L.P. an alternative retail electric supplier license to serve all customer classes at Commonwealth Edison
The grant of the license is the latest step in Vista Energy Marketing's expansion into electricity sales, which had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com
As previously reported, Vista Energy Marketing recently received electric supplier licenses in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Vista provides natural gas to approximately 110,000 end users in California, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, Arizona, Kentucky, Wyoming, Nebraska, Oregon, Utah, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Washington. In its Illinois application, Vista said that its revenues have grown from approximately $38 million to approximately $55 million over the past five years.
Luke Gottschalk joined Vista Energy Marketing last year as Vice President – Electricity. Gottschalk was previously a Vice President at Oasis Energy and a managing director at Spark Energy
Additionally, Vista Energy Marketing recently hired Harry Kingerski as Vice President - Regulatory and Compliance. Kingerski was most recently Sr. Director of Regulatory & Government Affairs at Entrust Energy and previously held similar positions at Spark Energy, MXenergy and Shell Energy.
