Flash: TXU Parent Reports Residential Retail Customer Growth, Flat Overall Customer Count
In reporting earnings today, Vistra Energy (parent of TXU and other retail brands) said that it grew its residential retail customer count during the first quarter.
In a slide presentation, Vistra Energy stated: "Vistra Energy grew residential customer counts in the first quarter of 2017 by 0.3K and continues to be a leader in product innovation in ERCOT."
When rounded, residential customer count was flat at 1.478 million as of both December 31, 2016 and March 31, 2017
"Business counts for Vistra Energy were ~195k at 12/31/16 and ~198k at 3/31/17," the company said in its presentation
During a conference call, executives again touted Vistra's integrated model, as Vistra CEO Curt Morgan said that retail is a "cornerstone" for the company
