ComEd Residential Price To Compare Increasing 10% On June 1

Commonwealth Edison's residential price to compare will increase nearly 11% starting June 1.

The June 1 ComEd residential price to compare will be 7.004¢/kWh, for the period June 1 to September 30, 2017. That's nearly 11% higher than the current ComEd price to compare of 6.318¢/kWh

The June 1, 2017 PTC of 7.004¢/kWh reflects supply (PEC) charges of 5.616¢/kWh and transmission (PJM) charges of 1.388¢/kWh

The price to compare does not include the bypassable Purchased Electricity Adjustment ("PEA")

ComEd's tariffs also provide an indicative price to compare for the period October 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018; however, the final PTC for this period will be subject to change based on the fall 2017 IPA procurement event.

Currently, the indicative residential ComEd PTC for the period beginning October 1, 2017 is 7.276¢/kWh
