Nania Energy Acquires Energy Brokering Business From Energy Management/Analytics Company
Nania Energy Advisors announced that it has acquired the energy supply brokering business of Goby
Included in the acquisition are the entirety of Goby's natural gas and electric procurement clients across a national footprint
In particular, Nania Energy Advisors said that the acquisition, "strengthens Nania Energy Advisors’ presence both in the Illinois energy market, where their headquarters reside, as well as in Maryland, where Nania Energy Advisors has an office dedicated to serving their east coast clients."
The transfer of accounts is effective immediately. Nania Energy said that the team at Goby will work closely with Nania Energy Advisors to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
"The energy brokerage market has matured after 15+ years of existence. I see further compression of margins, and thus consolidation is a natural outcome. Our new acquisition/merger strategy will allow us to leverage the incredible infrastructure of talent, products, and services we currently offer and help us achieve our growth goals," stated John Nania of Nania Energy Advisors.
Nania Energy Advisors provides energy procurement and advisement services for over 9,000 locations in 13 states.
