ERCOT Finds Unit, Which Had Submitted Notification of Suspension of Operations, Not Needed For Transmission Reliability
ERCOT issued a final determination that the generation resource Union Carbide Corp (RE) – UCC_COGN_UCC_C1 is not required to support ERCOT transmission system reliability
The generation resource may be decommissioned according to the schedule in its Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO).
As previously reported, the NSO stated that the resource UCC_COGN_UCC_C1 will be decommissioned and retired effective September 29, 2017.
