Starion Energy NY, Inc. withdrew its previously submitted request for a waiver at the New York PSC, under which Starion Energy had sought the authority to continue service to Assistance Program Participant (APP) customers with a guaranteed savings product

ESCOs are generally prohibited from serving APP customers absent a waiver for a guaranteed savings product

"Starion hereby withdraws its Petition. Starion agrees to comply with the December 16, 2016 Order Adopting a Prohibition on Service to Low-Income Customers by Energy Service Companies in accordance with the deadlines set forth in the Notice Further Extending Deadlines dated June 23, 2017," Starion said in its filing.
