Dynegy Reports Retail Growth, Customer Count By State
Dynegy announced in reporting earnings that its retail business has grown to serve approximately 1.2 million residential and commercial accounts.
The retail business expanded to New England this summer with its municipal aggregation contracts in the greater Boston area.
Dynegy now provides electricity to more than 550 communities in Illinois, Massachusetts and Ohio.
Dynegy's mass market retail customers by region is as follows:
Illinois-PJM: 320,000 households (3.2 TWh)
Illinois-MISO: 480,000 households (4.8 TWh)
Ohio: 250,000 households (2.5 TWh)
Massachusetts: 84,000 (0.7 TWh)
