Retail Supplier Selling Energy Inside 42 Sam's Clubs
Just Energy announced that it is selling retail energy and related services within 42 Sam's Clubs in various states
Sam's Club is one of nine different retail store partners through which Just Energy is offering its services. Just Energy's current retail storefront channel now includes 85 locations.
As reported yesterday, Just Energy remains on track to achieve the goal of being present in 500 stores by fiscal year-end (March 31, 2018), the company said
Specifically, Just Energy said that it plans to be in 200 stores in September, 500 by the end of the fiscal year, and 700 by July 1, 2018.
Just Energy said that it can make the retail store channel work with as little as 1 sale per store per day, but that it is seeing "significantly more" sales than that level thus far
Just Energy noted that if it can achieve just 2 sales per store per day, the retail store channel would account for some 500,000 new contracts annually once all 700 locations are up and running.

Just Energy is pursuing additional partnerships, including the use of authorized agents, such as cell phone stores.
