Texas Staff Set Date For Next Workshop On Potential Enhancements To Improve Efficiency Of Energy-Only Market

Staff of the Public Utility Commission of Texas will conduct a workshop on October 13, 2017 in Project No. 47199, Project to Assess Price-Formation Rules in ERCOT's Energy-Only Market.

Interested parties should be prepared to discuss: (1) proposals outlined in the Priorities for the Evolution of an Energy-Only Electricity Market Design in ERCOT Report and (2) any alternate proposals that parties intend to advance in this project. Pursuant to previously reported direction given at the August 17, 2017 Open Meeting, Staff requests that parties intending to present alternative proposals or additional analysis file written comments describing those proposals or analyses with the Commission's Central Records office by 3 P.M. on September 29, 2017
