State Sets Date For Allowing Retail Suppliers To Enter Rate Board Info Directly, End Compliance Filing Process; Sets Date For Workshop On New Process
The Connecticut PURA is prepared to go-live with a new process under which retail electric suppliers may directly post prices to the EnergizeCT.com Rate Board.
Since 2008, electric suppliers have been required to submit their generally available generation supply offers for posting to Connecticut’s EnergizeCT.com Rate Board. To date, this has been done through compliance filings to PURA containing the rate info, with PURA then posting the information on the site
PURA has modified the content management system and Rate Board database on the EnergizeCT.com website to allow licensed suppliers to directly upload (Self-Report) their generally available generation offers to the Rate Board.
Effective October 10, 2017, suppliers will begin to Self-Report.
Each supplier will be provided a secure account for uploading the information previously submitted through the PURA price filing form process.
The Authority will provide an overview of Self-Reporting at the October 3, 2017, Supplier Working Group meeting. Suppliers are encouraged to attend or otherwise participate via the internet in that meeting.
Self-Reporting will replace the current price filing process
