Sharyland Utilities said in an August 31 market notice that, "Due to Sharyland’s fuel suppliers being depleted, Sharyland is suspending all service orders (MVIs, MVOs, DNPs, Out of Cycle Switches, etc) until fuel supplies are replenished and Sharyland can resume full field service functionality," with the exception of Outage orders, Reconnect for Non-pays, and De-energized Residential Move-Ins.
This suspension affects the Stanton, Colorado City, Brady, and Celeste service territories only. This excludes the McAllen service territory.
All Service Orders (except Outage orders, RNPs and De-Energized Move-Ins) were suspended beginning at 8:00pm, August 31, 2017. Sharyland will reassess on Monday to determine when transactions/orders can resume.
Competitive retailers were directed to hold all service order transactions, if at all possible. If CR cannot hold transaction(s), Sharyland will attempt to hold orders in its systems but CRs may see the order rejected or complete unexecutable.
