Texas REPs Seek Consideration Of Retail Choice Issues In Lubbock Power & Light ERCOT Transition Review

In a list of issues filed in the Texas PUC docket reviewing Lubbock Power & Light's petition to join ERCOT, the Alliance for Retail Markets included the following issues as issues to be considered in the case:

• "Should LP&L conduct an analysis of opting into retail competition at a future date? Should this analysis be conducted as part of this proceeding, or in a separate proceeding?"

• "Does LP&L's application create barriers to opting into retail competition at a future date? If so, are these barriers appropriate or should they be removed or modified in a manner that does not foreclose or hinder the implementation of customer choice at a future date?"
