Most FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Residential Prices To Compare To Increase On December 1 (Some Increase Up To 25%)

The FirstEnergy Pennsylvania utilities have filed new tariffed residential PTCDefault rates with the PUC for the three-month period starting December 1, 2017

The PTCDefault rates are the all-in default service rates without the application of the State Tax Adjustment Surcharge (essentially, the PTC prior to application of the STAS), which is currently 0%.

At Met-Ed, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 6.816¢/kWh effective December 1, a 13% increase from the current 5.995¢/kWh

At Penelec, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 6.742¢/kWh effective December 1, a 25% increase from the current 5.383¢/kWh

At West Penn Power, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 6.149¢/kWh effective December 1, a 2% decrease versus the current 6.289¢/kWh

At Penn Power, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 7.202¢/kWh effective December 1, a 21% increase versus the current 5.956¢/kWh
