Baltimore Gas & Electric has filed indicative (or what it terms "projected") mass market SOS rates for the period beginning June 1, 2018

Procurements of SOS supply for residential and Type I customers for the period beginning June 1, 2018 have been completed; however, BGE does not file tariff revisions of such rates until it receives settlement data to shape certain Time of Use rate classes.

While BGE has not yet filed formal tariff supplements for the June 1, 2018 residential and Type I rates, BGE has posted certain SOS rate information for this period as part of its Electric Supply Price Comparison Information. Given that the shaping only impacts SOS rates with a TOU component, the generation component of the June 1, 2018 SOS rates posted under Electric Supply Price Comparison Information should not change once a formal tariff is filed (the bypassable transmission rate included in SOS is typically updated prior to June and will therefore change).

For Rate R residential customers, BGE lists the projected generation charge of the SOS rate for the period beginning June 1, 2018 as 6.574¢/kWh (note: this rate excludes transmission and Rider 8 reconciliation). This generation charge is 12% lower than the summer 2017 generation charge, and nearly 8% lower than the current SOS generation charge

Additionally, when including the _current_ transmission rate (likely to change by June 1, 2018,) the June 1, 2018 Rate R SOS rate (excluding Rider 8) is 7.701¢/kWh, versus the current 8.249¢/kWh.

Furthermore, BGE has updated its weighted average SOS supply price, and for Rate R customers, the Weighted Avg. Supply Price for Oct. 1, 2017 through Sep. 30, 2018 is listed as 8.026¢/kWh

For Rate G customers on Type I SOS, BGE lists the projected generation charge of the SOS rate for the period beginning June 1, 2018 as 6.221¢/kWh (note: this rate excludes transmission and Rider 8 reconciliation). This generation charge is 10% lower than the summer 2017 generation charge, and over 6% lower than the current SOS generation charge
