Ambit Energy Expands Service to Large C&Is In New State

Also Launches Service In Canada

Ambit Energy announced that it has expanded its service to large commercial and industrial customers to include electricity in Pennsylvania, offering service to C&Is at PPL Electric Utilities, PECO, West Penn Power, Penelec, Met-Ed, Duquesne Light, Penn Power, and UGI.

Ambit's expansion to Pennsylvania for large C&Is had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com in July

Ambit now serves more than 44,000 commercial meters in Texas and Illinois.

Ambit Energy also announced the company’s second international expansion with the launch of Ambit Energy Canada.

Ambit service is now available to residential and small commercial customers in Alberta throughout the ATCO Electric and ATCO Gas service areas.

Canada is Ambit's second international market expansion this year, following the launch of Ambit Energy Japan in July.
