Start-up Retail Provider Led By Veteran Energy Trader Seeks Texas REP Certificate

Windrose Power & Gas, LLC, a start-up retail supplier whose formation was first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com last year, has again applied for an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate.

Windrose Power & Gas previously filed for a Texas REP certificate in 2016, but later withdrew its application without prejudice.

In its new application, Windrose Power & Gas is seeking an Option 1 Texas REP certificate, and sought approval for use of the trade name Windrose Energy

As previously reported, Windrose Power and Gas is led by Thomas Strickland, President. Strickland is a veteran energy marketer and trader who has held VP positions at Pacific Summit Energy, Cheniere Marketing, Inc., and Cinergy Marketing and Trading
