An application for a REP certificate amendment filed with the Public Utility Commission of Texas, which stated in the filing to have been filed by Jade Energy, states that, "We are changing the ownership from Jade Energy to The Solar Co-Operative LLC."
On its website, The Solar Co-Operative describes itself as an independent power producer that develops, owns, and operates solar farms across Oklahoma.
The Solar Co-Operative LLC is led by retail and deregulated energy veteran Preston Ochsner, who is listed in the REP certificate amendment as now serving as President of retail provider Jade Energy
Ochsner has held leadership positions at a number of retail electric providers, including Vice President of Sales at StarTex Power and Spark Energy
Under the REP certificate amendment, Mark Vostrejs is listed as Chief Strategy Officer and Customer Relations Executive for Jade Energy. Vostrejs owns broker and procurement consultant Energybidz.com
Jade Energy is also authorized to use the trade name Bose Power & Electric
