PUC Approves New POR Discount Rates at PECO

The Pennsylvania PUC has approved tariff filings at PECO to update the purchase of receivables discount rate for natural gas, effective October 13, 2017

Effective October 13, 2017, the discount factors were set at 1.07% for Rates GR and CAP, 0.30% for Rates GC and the Excess Off-Peak Use Rider, and 0.00% for Rates OL, L, and MV-F.

All of the rates were reduced by 0.52% percentage points effective October 13, reflecting the completion of recovery of fifty percent of implementation and maintenance costs

PECO reported that there is an overcollection of $1,182 under the prior discounts, which will be held for use as an offset to future Gas RMI related costs such as from Docket No. L-2016-2577413
