Mothballed Units In ERCOT File Notice To Be Decommissioned
On December 5, 2017, ERCOT received a Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation (NCGRD) for the following Generation Resource:
• NRG Texas Power LLC – GBY_GBY_G5
This NCGRD states this Generation Resource, which is currently under a mothballed status, will change to a status of decommissioned and retired permanently as of December 31, 2017.
Separately, on December 5, 2017, ERCOT received a Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation (NCGRD) for the following Generation Resources:
• NRG Texas Power LLC – SRB_SRB_G3
• NRG Texas Power LLC – SRB_SRB_G4
• NRG Texas Power LLC – SRB_SRBGT_2
This NCGRD states these Generation Resources, which are currently under a mothballed status, will change to a status of decommissioned and retired permanently as of December 31, 2017.
