Solar/Storage Firm Names Retail Market Vet As Chief Marketing Officer

SPI Energy Co., Ltd., a global clean energy market place for business, residential, government and utility customers and investors which does business as Solar Power, Inc., announced that Scott Sullivan has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer and President of SPI US Region

Sullivan will focus on strengthening the company's current solar and storage business, expanding the potential opportunities of smart home projects in the United States and help to guide the product and marketing strategy to further improve the profitability as the company continues its evolution in the cleantech industry.

Sullivan is a 30-year veteran of the competitive and renewable/distributed energy space.

While most of Sullivan's positions have been with various renewable or distributed energy companies, Sullivan has held positions with various retail suppliers

Sullivan had previously served as Northern California Vice President of Sales for New Energy Ventures in the late 1990s. Sullivan also previously served as Senior Director of Energy Services Projects and IT at Enron Energy Services

Sullivan has also served as a consultant at Comverge
