Data Center Provider Creates Retail Supplier For Possible Sales To Other End-users
Switch, Ltd., which provides data center and related solutions, has created a 100% wholly owned subsidiary called Switched On, LLC to potentially act as a retail electric supplier serving other customers.
In an application for FERC market-based rate authority, Switched On states, "Applicant wants the flexibility to purchase, consume and, if its customers so demand, sell electricity to other retail end use customers in Nevada," in the event electric choice is introduced in the state
