Retail Supplier Zone One Energy Expands To New Territory
Zone One Energy LLC announced that it is expanding its electricity service area into the Consolidated Edison territory in Westchester County, New York
Electricity service from Zone One Energy will be available to all customer classes, including residential and commercial
The company said that, "Since the launch of Zone One in early 2015, the company has been focusing its business development activity within the five boroughs of New York City, where it offers a unique guaranteed savings product to the City’s electric customers."
Ari Green, Vice President of Business Development at Zone One, said that the expansion is part of a larger long term growth strategy, under which the company will methodically expand its product offering, both in terms of the types of customers served, as well as the geographical area within which Zone One Energy provides its guaranteed savings product.
Zone One Energy said that it is, "dedicated to providing its customers with a guaranteed savings product that is designed to provide a supply rate that is lower than what would have been paid to the utility under default service."
As previously reported, Zone One Energy, LLC has been granted a waiver by the PSC to serve assistance program participant customers with its guaranteed savings product
