New Start-up Retail Supplier Formed By Market Vet

Iridium Energy, LLC, a start-up retail supplier, has submitted a registration as an ESCO in New York.

In its registration, Iridium Energy, LLC stated that it is, "managed by a team of executives with extensive experience in the retail energy market."

Avi Esses serves as President of Iridium Energy, LLC, per the New York registration. In an application for FERC market-based rate authority, Esses is listed as Managing Director and Owner. The FERC application states that Esses owns or controls in excess of ten percent of the voting securities of Iridium Energy, LLC

Iridium Energy, LLC stated in its New York registration that it has common ownership with Galaxy Energy, LLC. Per Iridium's FERC MBR application, Esses owns in excess of ten percent of Galaxy Energy, LLC

Per Iridium's FERC MBR application, Elliot Shalom owns or controls in excess of ten percent of Iridium Energy, LLC. Per Iridium's FERC MBR application, Shalom serves as an officer and member of Iridium Energy, LLC. Shalom is also listed as Director of Customer Service in Iridium's registration with the New York PSC

Per Iridium's FERC MBR application, Harry Adjmi owns or controls in excess of ten percent of the voting securities of Iridium Energy, LLC. Adjmi serves as an officer and member of Iridium Energy, LLC.

Per Iridium's FERC MBR application, other than Esses, Shalom and Adjmi, no other person owns 10 percent or more of Iridium Energy, LLC and no other person currently holds an officer or director position of Iridium Energy, LLC.

Iridium Energy, LLC indicated in its registration with the New York PSC that it would serve non-residential electric customers at Consolidated Edison and Orange & Rockland

In its FERC MBR application, Iridium states that it, "plans to make retail sales of electricity and natural gas to residential and commercial end-users in states that allow retail choice."
