Green Mountain Energy Seeks License In New State
Green Mountain Energy Company applied for an Ohio electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Under prior ownership, Green Mountain Energy had been active in the early days of the Ohio retail electric market, but withdrew when, among other reasons, FERC rulings on SECA fees made the retail market unviable. Green Mountain Energy ceased serving Ohio load at the end of 2005 and its prior Ohio license was cancelled in 2006.
Taylor Consulting and Contracting Seeks Texas Aggregator License
Taylor Consulting and Contracting LLC, which will do business in Texas as TaylorCC, LLC due to name unavailability, applied for a Texas electric aggregator certificate to serve commercial and industrial customers.
