Established Energy Management Firm Expanding To Retail Electricity Supply Service (LSE) Receives First License

The Connecticut PURA granted Wattifi, Inc., formerly known as Optik Energy, LLC, an electric supplier license to serve residential, commercial and industrial customers

As previously reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, Optik Energy provides comprehensive energy management services in Connecticut, serving over 30 Connecticut municipalities and over 600 C&I customers. Optik has served the Connecticut market for over 20 years

In its retail supplier application, Optik Energy has said that serving as a retail supplier is a, "natural extension," of its business.

Among other things, Optik's current services include

• Lighting retrofits

• Energy Efficiency upgrades

• Building automation

• Real-time monitoring and load management

• Cogeneration

• Renewable energy project design and installation

• Demand Response

In response to a question concerning affiliates, Optik Energy listed DBS Energy on a page titled "affiliated company(ies)". "The extent of the relationship between DBS Energy and Optik Energy is the officers of DBS Energy Inc are two of the four officers of Optik Energy LLC," Optik had said
