ERCOT Unit To Be Mothballed After Summer Season

ERCOT received a Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resource: City of Garland, Gibbons Creek Generating Station – GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1

The NSO indicates that the Resource will be mothballed for a period of not less than seven months and not greater than eight months. The proposed effective date for the suspension of GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1 is October 1, 2018.

Recently, ERCOT received a notice from the City of Garland indicating that GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1, which is currently under a mothballed status, will change to a status of operational as of May 17, 2018.
