DC PSC Chair: Will Be Ready To Implement New WGL POR Program By July

Speaking at the National Energy Marketers Association National Restructuring Conference, District of Columbia PSC Chairman Betty Ann Kane said that her Staff has informed her that the new Purchase of Receivables (POR) program at Washington Gas Light will be ready for implementation by July 2018.

As previously reported, the PSC has already ordered the introduction of POR at WGL. Tariffs and program rules are currently being finalized (see recent story here)

Concerning POR at WGL, Kane said, "My Staff tells me that we'll be ready to implement that by July of 2018."
