Massachusetts Residential, Small C&I Default Service Rates To Decrease 5%

NSTAR Electric Company d/b/a Eversource Energy filed with the Massachusetts DPU new basic service rates for its Western Massachusetts service territory (WMA), formerly WMECO.

New residential and small commercial basic service rates at WMECO are about 5% lower than the current rates.

The fixed residential WMECO default service rates will decrease to 10.003 cents per kWh on July 1, from the current 10.503 cents per kWh

The fixed Small C&I WMECO default service rates will decrease to 10.859 cents per kWh on July 1, from the current 11.421 cents per kWh

The Basic Service listed above and below include Basic Service Adjustments, Renewable Portfolio Standard Adders, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard Adders, and Clean Energy Standard Adders
