The number of residential electric customers on competitive supply was essentially flat at PPL Electric Utilities during April, versus the March total, contrasting with several recent months of declines in the hundreds of customers

From late March to late April, PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply decline by only 4 customers, compared to a decline of nearly 1,000 customers from late February to late March

Duquesne Light saw its first monthly increase in residential electric shopping since January, adding a net of nearly 650 residential customers on competitive supply from late March to late April, compared to a decline of 300 from late February to late March

Statewide, Pennsylvania saw another monthly decline in the aggregate number of residential customers on competitive supply during April, with a net decline of 4,600 residential customers on competitive supply from late March to late April. That compares to a net decline of 6,300 residential accounts statewide from late February to late March

The change in the number of residential customers on competitive supply at each large utility from late March 2018 to late April 2018 (reporting date varies slightly by utility) was:
