Centrica Business Solutions, Centrica’s Distributed Energy & Power brand, has hired Dan Svejnar to assume the role of Vice President, Head of Commercial in North America.

Prior to joining Centrica Business Solutions, Svejnar led strategy, operations, project finance and asset management teams in various operating roles for venture backed companies. As a co-founder or advisor, Svejnar has collaborated with management teams to successfully raise capital for companies and projects in both the United States and Europe.

Svejnar has over 15 years of experience managing complex agreements throughout the energy value chain, and began his career as a structured finance banker. He has originated, structured, and executed over $1.2 billion of energy transactions spanning the capital structure. His structured finance experience includes renewable energy generation technologies as well as developing innovative financing solutions for large scale energy efficiency transactions
