Two Retail Suppliers Seek To Join Ohio Supplier Consolidated Billing Pilot

Just Energy Solutions Inc. and ENGIE Resources LLC have submitted separate requests to participate in a supplier consolidated billing pilot at AEP Ohio.

The SCB pilot was recently expanded as part of AEP Ohio's recent ESP order to include a maximum of five retail suppliers. The SCB pilot had originally been established in a prior contested case concerning AEP Ohio's proposed long-term PPAs, with participants limited to four specific suppliers engaged in such contested case, though only three of such suppliers may be currently participating, as the ESP settlement indicated that the expansion would accommodate two additional suppliers

If more than two certified retail providers apply to join the SCB pilot, the additional two participants will be selected in a random manner

The number of customers that suppliers are allowed to bill under SCB is a maximum of 80,000 customers
