FirstEnergy Solutions Says Its Nukes Don't Clear 2021/22 BRA Capacity Auction; Provides MW, Revenue For Its Cleared Units

FirstEnergy Solutions (FES) said that none of its three nuclear plants, with combined capacity of 4,048 megawatts, received a commitment in the PJM 2021/22 Base Residual Auction
FES has announced plans to deactivate two nuclear power plants – the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, in 2020; and the Perry Nuclear Power Plant, in 2021.
FES said that its West Lorain 2-6, A & B units, with UCAP of 361, cleared the PJM 2021/22 BRA, at a clearing price of $171.33 per MW-day, equating to revenue of $22.6 million
FES said that its W.H. Sammis 5-7 units, with UCAP of 1,233, cleared the PJM 2021/22 BRA, at a clearing price of $171.33 per MW-day, equating to revenue of $77.1 million
FES said that its following units below did not clear the PJM 2021/22 BRA
