The Illinois Commerce Commission sought input on the topics related to NextGrid Working Group #5, Electricity Markets
Stakeholders and the general public are encouraged to submit written comments, white papers or other applicable presentations on the topics of Electricity Markets through the NextGrid website.
Working Group #5 Electricity Markets, "is considering methods to increase Illinois customers’ access to new technologies and stimulate distribution-level market participation. This Working Group is exploring market-based platform transactions that the grid can enable and studying ways to enhance consumer access to Illinois’ competitive retail energy markets."
