Oncor To Apply Power Factor Adjustment To Invoices For Certain Former Sharyland ESI IDs

Oncor informed retail electric providers in a market notice that, "Oncor will begin applying the power factor adjustment to invoices for all ESI IDs greater than 700 kW in the former Sharyland service territory during the August 2018 billing cycle."
The August 2018 billing cycle begins July 26, 2018.
Power factor adjustments will be made in accordance with Section 5.5.5 of Oncor’s Tariff for Retail Delivery Service
Oncor further said in the market notice concerning the application of a power factor adjustment in the former Sharyland service territory that, "Later this year, Oncor plans to apply the power factor adjustment to all remaining non-residential ESI IDs that have had a demand of 290 kW or greater in the past. Oncor will provide at least 30 days advance notice to REPs before applying the power factor adjustment to these remaining ESI IDs."
In the next few days, Oncor REP Account Managers will send each affected REP a list of their ESI IDs in the former Sharyland service territory that are greater than 700 kW.
