PSC Approves Changes To POR Discount Rates (0% Rates)

The District of Columbia PSC has approved Pepco's proposed changes to its purchase of receivables (POR) discount rates

Under the order, Pepco will set the POR discount to 0% for all customer classes. Previously, the POR discount was 0% for all SOS classes except for the defunct Schedule AE (2.0608%)

The new POR discounts for Pepco (D.C.) are as follows, by SOS, or market-priced service, rate schedule:

The 0% discounts reflect the "zeroing-out" of negative discount rates that otherwise results from the discount rate calculation

In its tariff, Pepco had set the effective date for the new discount as June 1, 2018. The PSC ruled that Pepco's POR tariff filing shall become effective upon publication of this Notice of Final Tariff in the D.C. Register.
