Several of the FirstEnergy Pennsylvania utilities have filed new tariffed residential PTCDefault rates with the PUC for the three-month period starting September 1, 2018

The PTCDefault rates are the all-in default service rates without the application of the State Tax Adjustment Surcharge (essentially, the PTC prior to application of the STAS), which is currently 0%.

At Met-Ed, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 6.068¢/kWh effective September 1, a 4% decrease versus the current 6.341¢/kWh

At Penelec, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 5.968¢/kWh effective September 1, a 4% decrease versus the current 6.223¢/kWh

At West Penn Power, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 5.595¢/kWh effective September 1, a 15% decrease versus the current 6.560¢/kWh

At Met-Ed, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 6.344¢/kWh effective September 1, a 3.5% increase versus the current 6.128¢/kWh

At Penelec, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 5.842¢/kWh effective September 1, a 7% increase from the current 5.475¢/kWh

At West Penn Power, the commercial PTCDefault rate will be 4.249¢/kWh effective September 1, a 24% decrease versus the current 5.619¢/kWh
