PECO Price To Compare To Fall 5%

PECO has filed with the Pennsylvania PUC new electric Generation Supply Adjustment (GSA) charges for the period beginning September 1, 2018

The GSA (labeled generation charge) is the largest component of the Price to Compare (PTC). The final PTCs, which have not yet been posted on PECO's website, also include the transmission charge.

For residential customers (R, RH), PECO's GSA will decrease to 6.275¢/kWh on September 1, from the current 6.619¢/kWh

PA Power Switch has posted the "actual" PECO residential price to compare, for the period beginning September 1, as 6.807¢/kWh, which is 5% lower than the current 7.151¢/kWh.

For General Service (GS) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA will decrease to 6.015¢/kWh on September 1, from the current 6.248¢/kWh

PA Power Switch has posted the "actual" PECO price to compare for GS customers at or under 100 kW, for the period beginning September 1, as 6.525¢/kWh, which is 3% lower than the current 6.758¢/kWh.

For Primary - Distribution Power (PD) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA will decrease to 5.912¢/kWh on September 1, from the current 6.143¢/kWh

For High - Tension Power (HT) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA will increase to 5.674¢/kWh on September 1, from the current 5.898¢/kWh

The new GSAs are to be effective September 1, 2018 to November 30, 2018
