Direct Energy Launches New Plan In Northeast Markets, Also Expands Echo Dot Plans

Direct Energy said that it has newly launched, under the Direct Energy brand, a residential renewable energy plan in its Northeast markets

Direct Energy's new Smart Source 24 plan is a 100% renewable plan with a fixed rate for 24 months

At PECO in Pennsylvania, Direct Energy's Smart Source 24 plan has a fixed rate of 8.69 cents per kWh

At ComEd in Illinois, Direct Energy's Smart Source 24 plan has a fixed rate of 8.99 cents per kWh

The plan is also offered in Direct's other Northeast markets, including at Consolidated Edison in New York

Direct Energy has also expanded its plans bundling electricity supply with an Echo Dot, first launched in Texas earlier this year, to several Northeast markets, such as ComEd, PECO, and ConEdison, among others
