The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

FERC approved a request from PJM for a one-time waiver of provisions of the PJM Open Access Transmission Tariff as necessary to enable PJM to delay its 2019 Base Residual Auction (BRA) for the 2022/2023 Delivery Year from May 2019 to August 14-28, 2019

As previously reported, PJM sought the delay due to an ongoing FERC proceeding related to minimum offer prices and FERC's prior direction on changes to RPM, including allowing load associated with state-subsidized resources to exit the RPM auction (see story here). The delay allows PJM to incorporate any outcome from such proceeding in the 2019 auction.
