Ambit Energy announced that it will expand its guaranteed savings plan to customers in Maine, New Hampshire and Ohio this fall

Ambit also announced that it will begin offering electric service to customers at FortisAlberta, ENMAX and EPCOR in Alberta later this year

Ambit also rolled out a new app for its Texas customers for account management and other information.

Ambit also said that Texas customers will soon be able to ask Amazon's Alexa for information about their Ambit account. The Ambit Energy Customer Skill on Alexa will provide account details and other helpful information to any Alexa-enabled device. "Just enable the Ambit Energy Customer Skill in the Alexa app, log in with your MyAmbit Account username and password, then say, 'Alexa, ask the Spark'," Ambit said, for customers to access information about their plan and other information (usage, etc.).
