Oncor said in a market notice that it will begin applying the next round of power factor adjustments to invoices for all ESI IDs from 290 kW to 700 kW in the former Sharyland service territory during the March 2019 billing cycle.

The March 2019 billing cycle is planned to begin February 25, 2019. Power factor adjustments will be made in accordance with Section 5.5.5 of Oncor’s Tariff for Retail Delivery Service

Oncor has already replaced the meters at many of the premises that are 290 kW and greater and programmed those meters to record power factor. REPs of Record may obtain the power factor readings for these ESI IDs by utilizing the 867 tab in Oncor’s Competitive Retailer Information Portal (CRIP) or by utilizing the Historical Usage button within CRIP. Additionally, REPs and customers may request power factor data by sending a list of ESI IDs to Oncor's REP relations email address

Oncor plans to complete the replacement and programming of all Sharyland meters by the end of 2018.

For premises greater than 700 kW that are currently being billed a power factor adjustment, REPs of Record may also obtain the historical power factor readings for these ESI IDs by utilizing the 867 tab in CRIP or by utilizing the Historical Usage button within CRIP. Additionally, REPs and customers may request power factor data for these premises by sending a list of ESI IDs to Oncor's REP relations email address

In the next few days, Oncor REP Account Managers will send each affected REP a current list of their ESI IDs that range from 290 kW to 700 kW in the former Sharyland service territory.
