EC Infosystems Successfully Completes Second Annual User Conference in San Antonio

UNIONDALE, N.Y. – October 01, 2018 – EC Infosystems, a leader in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Billing/Customer Information Solutions (CIS) for companies in the deregulated energy industry, hosted a highly successful second annual user conference September 12 – 14, 2018 at the Marriott Plaza San Antonio.

Following on the successes of last year’s inaugural event, EC Infosystems’ second annual user conference was met with high praise from attendees. The event’s goal - to empower EDI and UtiliBill™ Billing/CIS users with the tools and technology needed to be more efficient & evolutionary – was achieved through educational sessions and invigorating keynote presentations from DNV-GL’s Vice President of Competitive Markets, John Landry and Lindsey Margiotta, Director of Operations for Spark Energy.

To kick-off the sessions, several EC Infosystems’ team members presented tools like ECI’s new Data Analytics Platform, developed through the consensus and recommendation of last year’s attendees. Several sessions were dedicated to presenting new development items such as the Online Customer Service Portal, Complex Billing, specific Texas functionality, and system enhancements geared towards improving billing efficiencies up to 90%.

Thursday’s sessions also included an interactive brainstorm to outline EC Infosystems’ 2019 roadmap with input from clients and stakeholders and results compiled into a presentation for audience review the following morning.

Attendees were able to fit in plenty of networking with attendees and sponsors, kicking off the event with a welcome reception that included local music and dancing. At the conclusion of Thursday’s sessions, attendees took a private boat tour through the historic San Antonio Riverwalk ending with a cocktail reception and seated dinner at the upscale dining destination The Range.
